A Response to Covid 19 from a Colour Consciousness Perspective

We’ve pressed “pause” all around the world as we come to terms with the latest threat to mankind.

I’ve refrained from adding my thoughts into the mix of the many contributions out there on our latest pandemic but now I feel it’s timely to consider the wider lessons that humanity is being taught as a result of what is happening.

Why did this virus start?

There are many theories out there about what got this virus started:

  1. The widespread belief that it originated in a wet market in Wuhan, China, where animals are traded illegally and that the virus was spread from bat to most likely a pangolin and then was contracted by humans working in the vicinity. Some early cases of Covid-19, however, appear to have inflicted people with no link to the Wuhan market at all, suggesting that the initial route of human infection may pre-date the market cases.

  2. The leading conspiracy theories tell us that the virus was man-made and deliberately released as a mechanism by secret global elite forces to control mass population and reduce overall numbers to protect our precious resources on the planet and to keep those with power  wealthy and in control.

  3. That the virus has been spreading as a result of 5G networks that attack our immune systems and play havoc with our energy fields.

  4. That the virus was a result of a lab leakage. It is certainly true that the original epicentre of the epidemic, Wuhan, also hosts a virology institute where researchers have been studying bat coronaviruses for a long time.

  5. That Mother Earth has taken matters into her own hands and is getting her own back because we have failed in our capacities as stewards of the land, depleting scarce resources, polluting our oceans and rivers and deforesting the lungs of the Great Mother. I find it rather interesting that it’s a virus that attacks our lungs and the one thing the majority of us all took for granted each day, our ability to breathe.

  6. The astrological/cosmology perspective that cites the movement of the planets and the auspicious timing of conjunct planets, namely Pluto/Saturn conjunct from January 2020. Here is an excerpt from Wow Astrology:

Saturn and Pluto conjunct once every 34 years and it is therefore an important astrological event for humanity. It practically prepares us for a new life and a new purpose. We are forced to work collectively. It forces us to connect our souls and higher spirits to find faith. This also contributes to the collective transformation of the Planet. People are or should be more aware of the Planet and others. And if we don’t understand this message, a horrific tragedy such as a pandemic could force us into this: a global fight against coronavirus. We need determination and patience to cope with the emotional tumult and the individual and collective awakening to which we are subjected. We will coordinate our efforts because even if we didn’t realize it by now, we’ll be forced to see “the wrong”. And there is no other response to this awareness than CHANGE.”

And another excerpt from Ask Astrology:

Uranus entered Taurus on March 7, 2019, where it will remain until April 2026. The last two Uranus in Taurus periods were from 1935 to 1942 and 1851 to 1859. World War II began under the 1935 to 1942 transit and the 3rd Cholera Pandemic (which killed up to 1,000,000 people in Russia) occurred during the 1851 to 1859 transit. Suffice to say, that when Uranus goes through Taurus, we can expect shocks to our daily lives. COVID-19 is already adversely affecting travel and is beginning to affect the daily lives of citizens worldwide, even in places where few or no cases currently exist. There are many ways to understand the idea that the world is a single complex organism, economics is one way, travel and communication are another, … and pandemic disease, which is a way to “shock” the system.”

Considering the whole situation from a colour perspective I was given very clearly back in January bottle 4 which connects to Uranus, the planet of the awakener which often brings unexpected changes and shocks. Uranus rules Aquarius so often these moments of upheavals in our lives are necessary in order for us to break away from restrictive ways of being that don’t serve us; allowing us to follow a more liberated path. Looking at it from a colour perspective Aquarius is shown in the bottom fraction, Turquoise, and this is very much the colour of innovation and of intuitive knowing and being and heartfelt communication. One might say that yellow represents the mind, our rational linear way of looking at life. It also shows the fears and the confusion that has been unfolding in the collective. The antidote or medicine for the experience of the unfolding was C12 shown below. This represents the enlightened heart chakra and lilac represents service and spirituality whilst pink brings in unconditional love. This is a very feminine bottle whilst the latter is very masculine. It demonstrates very well for me the subtle shift that is occurring in the world right now as we are all in lockdown and going through our reset mechanisms. More on this later in my post!

The bottles and their messages:

Bottle 4 Uranus (Yellow / Deep Turquoise)

This planet signifies change and disruption of the old order. It is time to clear everything that no longer serves you and let go of old beliefs, structures, people and places that are not in alignment with your truth. This is the planet of the future and is about clearing everything that will not fit into the Golden Age of Aquarius. Expect the unexpected.

Bottle C12. Heart Chakra - Love (Lilac / Pink)

This bottle unites your heart with your spirit and relates to oneness and unconditional love. It connects you with the heartbeat of your soul and your true Divine loving light. This bottle reflects all the inner beauty you hold and asks you to share it with the world.  Now is the time to recognise that you are one with all of humanity.  This bottle may indicate grief over the loss of a mother or deep transformation of mother issues.

The quantum systemic perspective

If we chunk up to a spiritual level or an energetic perspective of the whole situation we can see that this pandemic might be the likely result of a mass collective of negative thought forms that produce mass fear, chaos and hysteria. Thoughts, in the world of quantum physics, are things. Nobel Prize winning physicists have proven beyond doubt that the physical world is just one large sea of energy that flashes into and out of being in milliseconds, over and over again. Nothing is solid in this world and thoughts are the things that put together and hold together the ever-changing energy field into the objects that we see. In other words, your set of senses perceives the sea of energy from a certain limited standpoint and makes up an image from that. It is not complete, nor is it accurate. It is just an interpretation. All of our interpretations are solely based on our own ‘internal map’ of reality that we have, and not the real truth. Our ‘map’ is a result of our personal life’s collective experiences.

Our thoughts are linked to this invisible energy and they determine what the energy forms. Our thoughts literally shift the universe on a particle-by-particle basis to create our physical life. Everything you see in your physical world started as an idea, an idea that grew as it was shared and expressed, until it grew enough into a physical object through a number of steps. So your life becomes what you think about and what you are able to imagine. We are always creating our reality and our external world acts as a mirror for our internal thoughts and feelings. Quantum mechanics correlate with the ancient practice of shamanism which has always believed in an interconnected universe where everything is alive, vibrating and conscious and where we are always dreaming our world into being.

We are all pure energy-light in its most beautiful and intelligent configuration. And energy is constantly changing beneath the surface and we can control it all with our powerful minds. Each of us are body, mind and spirit and each has a function that is unique. What we see with our eyes and experience with our body is the physical world of form and function. The body is an effect created by cause which is thought. Body on its own cannot create. It can only experience and be experience, that is its unique function. Thought cannot experience, it can only make up, create and interpret. It needs a world of relativity (the physical world through the body) to experience itself.

Spirit is All That Is, that which gives life to thought and body. Body has no power to create, although it gives the illusion of power to do so. This illusion is the cause of much confusion and misunderstanding in the world. The body is purely an effect and has no power to cause or create.

Lessons we are learning:

  1. Our disconnection from nature brought about disharmony on the planet and if we’re honest with ourselves we have known for a good while that something was amiss somewhere, after all, we had plenty of warning- an increase in volcanic action over the last decade and more recently the bush fires out of control in Australia whilst England was awash with the floods. The reset is allowing each of us to reconnect with nature and in doing so to appreciate anew the beauty and function that exists there. Every part has a role to play that supports the whole, nothing is wasted.

  2. The importance of clearing our emotions and acknowledging ALL of them the grief, sadness, loneliness, a sense of abandonment, fear, anger, frustration. As well as the gratitude, joy of just being, compassion and the connection and importance of the simple things in life that touch us at a deep level. It’s easy to simply fall into old patterns of repression, disassociation and addiction to get through the lockdown but that will only serve to hardwire them and bring even more distress and suffering further down the line. We are all being asked to surrender our emotional baggage and clean up our acts as we move into a new world which can vibrate to a higher tune.  Many of us are learning to connect back in with ourselves and to restore our faith in our own capacity to find our way through this by remembering who we really are, creators and manifesters with the power to choose our response. Love is the underlying unity of the universe and the supreme spiritual law and humanity seeks love above all things but frustrated unrequited love gives birth to fear and hate, division and separation and the absence of love is fear.

  3. Understanding & reconnecting the divine feminine in the world at large the yin energy teaches us about the importance of being first, doing second and having what we desire third. She is the unseen aspect working under the surface in the shadows to activate our conscience so we can become more of who we’re meant to be. She teaches us about the importance of being the change we wish to see in the world and supports us to be in our integrity and to fully walk our talk. This has been remiss in the world and certainly in the echelons of leadership across our political, social and economic systems. She is our creative resourceful power that when fully understood, harnessed and integrated into the body, shows us that cooperative power rather than competitive instinct will always ensure balance and harmony to sustain life.

  4. Simplifying the complex -we’re learning about what truly matters and irrespective of our complex problems generated by our desire for greed, power and short-term comfort, we can turn our attention to solving these big issues by rethinking how we look at the world. One of those complex issues right now is our social care system and the way we treat our elderly. Many of us have become appalled by the inability of families to access their loved ones and to honour and grieve for them appropriately. This virus and our treatment of it is casting light on what we truly value, and in doing so, how we invest and pay appropriately for those services as well as honouring our caregivers in society, most of which are largely women. When we act with good heart we always know the right thing to do.

  5. We are becoming more conscious of our choices and their impact on ourselves, our loved ones and our planet. Our economic systems have been failing us for many years now. As more and more of us wake up and start to live more from our inner spiritual world and ground our light in the body we get a lot more purposeful in how we choose to direct our energy, our time and our resources. Conscious capitalism becomes the order of the day. We can let go of conditioned responses that contribute fear to the collective.

This is the beginning of a whole new wave of innovation and creativity where we get the opportunity to shape a fairer, healthier and more sustainable way of business that leaves a legacy for generations to come. There is much to be thankful for and inspired about right now and we all have a contribution to make in creating a new vision for our interconnected world. There is no coincidence too that we are beginning to consider how we come out of lockdown at the same time as we celebrate VE day following the end of WW2 seventy-five years ago which feels very symbolic!
